Day 1 – Zagreb

Welcome to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, an old city with a young soul. Your tour leader will meet you at the Zagreb Airport and togther with your driver will transfer you to your hotel. After you checked in, we will take you for a pleasant walk in the city centre where you will get the first impressions of Zagreb. We are also going to have a welcome dinner with specialties of the local cuisine in one of Zagreb taverns. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 2 – Zagreb

Breakfast. We are taking you to discover Zagreb, cultural, comercial and political centre. With numerous museums, galleries, theatres, churches, cafes, open markets, clubs and pubs, Zagreb is today a city pulsing with life, it’s old town is a true feast for your senses, where you can explore some of ideal places in this vivid city.

Free afternoon and we can advise following – spend your afternoon in one of many interesting museums (Museum of broken relationships), take a walk in Maksimir Park or just enjoy in a friendly atmosphere which Zagreb offers you. Dinner. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 3 – Zagreb – Hum – Motovun – Porec

Breakfast. Today we go to Istria – the biggest croatian peninsula, will amaze you with spectacular natural scenery in constant transformation over the course of the year. While moving inland gives way to the kind of green and fertile hues associated with the landscapes of Provence and Tuscany.We will visit Hum – tiny medieval town – a monument of medieval urban architecture has officially been declared the smallest in the world.  The fact that the town is completely surrounded with old walls and that there was not much construction outside of them is especially interesting. Thanks to such settlement structure, one can rightfully claim that the entire Hum is actually a monument. We are having lunch in this unique place. Afterwords we are heading to Motovun city who is standing proud on the peaks of hills rising from the fertile valley. It is surrounded by vineyards from which the finest Istrian wines are produced..  We will end our day in Poreč, the two thousand years old town on the blue coast of Adriatic. Its orthogonal set of streets has been completely preserved till today!  Accommodation. Dinner. Overnight in Poreč.

Day 4 – Poreč – Rovinj – Opatija

After breakfast we are going to discover Poreč with its simple ports, fishing boats and narrow streets, reflect the spirit of the Mediterranean.We will visit Euphrasius Basilica as a unique example of early Byzantine art in the Mediterranan dating back to the 6th century, the basilica has been added to the UNESCO World Heritale List. After this we will visit Rovinj, the old town which stands on a headland, with houses tightly crowded down to the seafront. A tangle of cobbled streets leads to the hilltop church of St. Euphemia, whose towering steeple dominates the skyline. We continue our journey to Opatija while enjoying exceptional landscape of Istria. Day 5 – Opatija – NP Plitvice lakes

Breakfast. Sightseeing of Opatija, variously known as the „Old Dame“ or „Queen of tourim“ is a remarkable seaside resort town with a long history of tourism stretching back in 19th century. Stop for a moment, close your eyes and you are likely to feel its rich cultural heritage and almost hear the footsteps from the past.We continue to National park Plitvice and we will spend this day enjoying the oldest and the biggest national park in Croatia, there are sixteen blue-green lakes connected to each other by a series of waterfalls, resembling a pearl, all embraced in a magic greenery of the forests and meadows. This National Park has found its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List, blessed as it is with the special natural beauty of a string of lakes and waterfalls. The opportunity to experience a unique moment in these natural galleries should not be missed. Accomodation. Dinner. Overnight in Plitvice/Korenica.

Day 6 – NP Plitvice lakes – Split

Breakfast. Today we are taking you to Split – the second biggest city in Croatia and the capital of Dalmatia. After we check into our hotel, we will take a walk through the heart of Split – the famous Split waterfront of Riva where you will feel the friendly and cozy atmosphere of this vibrant and lively city. The world’s most powerful man, Emperor Diocletian, was faced with the decision on where to spend the rest of his days. Of all of the known world, he chose to build his home in the heart of the region of Dalmatia, setting the first stones in place for the future city of Split. Follow in his footsteps by exploring Diocletian’s Palace and a region home to islands, stunning natural landscapes and a wealth of culture that will defy your expectations. Welcome dinner in trattoria Mlin in Žrnovnica. Accomodation. Day 7 – Split – Trogir

Breakfast. Then we are heading to Trogir – the old heart of the city, surrounded by walls, with a well preserved castle and tower and by numerous other buildings and palaces dating from Romanesque, gothic and baroque periods, has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage. Walk throughout the history of this UNESCO protected treasure.At the shore starts your journey through the history. Walk along the Trogir`s beautiful narrow street and the guide will take you into the past time by retelling the stories and legends of Trogir. Greek, Roman, Venetian history on a small Island connected to one, make this one of the most interesting historic oasis on the Adriatic Sea. Dinner. Overnight in Split.

Day 8 – Split – Hvar Island

Breakfast. In Split harbor, we will board the ferry for the island Hvar and continue our journey on the sunniest island in Croatia Hvar – the island of natural beauty. With its architecture, beautiful nature and mild climate many would describe it as a true fairy-tale city. When we add to the natural beauties, a high quality accommodation and Mediterranean cordiality and courtesy city of Hvar becomes an ideal destination and a great place to see. Day 9 – Hvar

Breakfast. Sightseeing of city of Hvar. Through the centuries, an oasis of culture has remained here, a testimony to the identity.
Hvar has celebrated 140 years of organised tourism,  and today it is considered to be one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world. There are vast fields of lavender, ancient olive trees and vineyards, in immaculate harmony between man and nature. Free afternoon. We can suggest you to go on the Blue Cave on Biševo, the true phenomenon or to visit one of the best hidden beaches in Croatia – Stiniva Cove on the island of Vis. Try not to miss this unique experience. Dinner. Overnight on Hvar.

Day 10 – Hvar – Ston – Dubrovnik

Breakfast. Today we are going on the other side of Hvar, to a place Sućuraj from where we are taking a ferry from where we go to the mainland. On our way to Dubrovnik, we will stop at little town Ston on the beginning of the Pelješac peninsula, known for the fortification complex dating from the 14th century and quite unique in its length of 3,5 miles. The Ston area is also known for a great seafood especially oysters which are grown in the Little Ston bay. In the evening, we will arrive to Dubrovnik and check into our hotel. You can spend the rest of your evening getting the first impressions of Dubrovnik. Dinner. Overnight in Dubrovnik

Day 11 – Dubrovnik

Breakfast. This whole day is reserved for exploring and enjoying in our Pearl of Adriatic – the old town Dubrovnik. ”.You will enjoy the beauty and rich history of this old town under the UNESCO protection. Its glorious walls, with their fortresses and bastions, offer a unique walk with view of the magical Elafiti islands. From the Onofrio fountain to the City bell tower, along its main street, Stradun and in many other small and quiet cobblestone streets, every step in this town will be an experience par excellence. Walls are built to protect treasures, and in Dubrovnik this is particularly accurate, with 1,940 metres of stone surrounding one of the world’s most beautiful cities. As George Bernard Shaw stated: “If you want to see heaven on Earth, come to Dubrovnik. We are taking you for a dinner in one of Dubrovnik’s taverns. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 12 – Dubrovnik

Breakfast. Today is the last day of our tour. After breakfast, your tour leader and driver will drive you to Dubrovnik Airport where you are expecting your flight back home. We wish you a safe journey and we hope that you will always gladly remember Croatia and have great memories of these twelve days spent with us.
